About Connaught Heights
Connaught Heights Community School is a small, unique and culturally diverse community-oriented school, located in a park like setting in the West End of New Westminster.
Opened in 1962, our school was officially designated a Community School in 1995 by School District No. 40 (New Westminster) and the Ministry of Children and Families. The mandate of this program is to provide a wide range of recreational, social and educational programs and to partner with other agencies and organizations, some of which use our school facilities.
Serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 7, our focus is on student achievement and supporting all learners. Our Mission Statement expresses the goal: "With the ongoing support of parents, community and staff, Connaught Heights School maintains its commitment to creating an environment where students become problem solvers, strive for academic excellence, develop positive friendships and be the best they can be".
Our school is located at 2201 London Street, New Westminster, B.C. V3M 3G1. Our Principal is Chris Evans and our Secretary is Joan Taylor. Please contact us at 604-517-6010 or fax us at 604-517-6011.
